JOHNNY OATES
He figured for little, but it was
in his own scheme. Lawnmower
and small engine repair. I asked
him once about his sign : It had
a mistake on it, 'Mall Engine
Repair.' I said, John, what's a
mall engine anyway?

He laughed, and just said,
'A real buying machine.' I
said that was funny. The sign
got changed, pretty quickly,
though he was never fast
about anything.
