9364. EDGAR ALLAN POE AND THE LOG-FLUME RIDE

EDGAR ALLAN POE AND
THE LOG-FLUME RIDE
Well, it wasn't Edgar Allen Poe really, it was
just a friend named Alex. The World's Fair,
in 1964. I think that's the year, not sure. All
he raved about was the log-flume ride. I
didn''t even know what he meant. Still don't;
but I think it was a hollowed out log swiftly
set reeling, with passengers in it, down a
fast-moving and watery course. Swiss
Pavilion? I don't know. If I had a life
to live over, i'd try and find out, but
as it is now instead I'll have to run
with nothing. I wonder what they
charged for something like that,
and why? Big deal. Not worth
a dime. That was it.
