QUITE LIKE A MANNERISM
Having gone wayward, lost,
speeding in space, I put down
my words in this King's paper
book after he'd said, 'Keep it
short.' So I spiffed it up to two
words left. Is O.K. two words?
I really wanted to curse - also
doable, dear King, with two
words, and a royal digit!

The old stream (do you yet
remember?) where we used to
sit evenings, is now a sluice-pipe
'neath some grimy park. They
often put a police car there, to
fake folks out - empty, it sits.
Speeders, going by, catch it
by eye, and slow down. Why?
