HAVING TO THINK
At first on the outside, no
one could figure anything
out. A regular person was
often baffled by ordinary
things. Prism-rainbow on
the inside wall - what is
that? And how did it get
there at all?
-
American colonists, coming
over on those ships, 1604
and 1630, let's say, they were
constantly baffled, I am told,
by cisterns of fresh cool water,
or even glasses and cruets of
same, that would bead up on
the outside with more water
still! Just like a Puritan to go
searching for leaks and waste
all that time.
