Shall I show you then the lone idea that
lifts up Man? The one of hope and love and
fragrance, like in the garden on the initial day.
Yes, the storyline gets murky, and this God
walks along - not even able to find the two he
created but having to call out, 'Adam, where are
you?' I'd say that in itself was pretty bizarre, but
those old-time writers knew their stuff. Why let
on that you knew where they were, I can picture
God saying to Himself. In the first joust of Man's
own self-recognition, Adam is made to reply:
'Here I am. I am here.'
