IT WAS A LONG
& SILENT FALL
I guess I liked that; but I didn't know
if it meant 'Autumn' or some huge
tumble I may have taken : such as
diving off a wall or rooftop. Who's
to say how these things go? And
anyway, Mr. Munch, had it been
long and silent - wherever, even
on your bridge - who would have
heard me anyway?
