LOOKING AHEAD BY LOOKING BACK
I'm fairly idle now. It's a boost - I
can sit back and read, or punk around.
I haven't watched TV since June (just
another one of those multi-year stints).
Little noise, no TV chatter, nor laughter,
nor sentiment-baiting crap either. We
tucked it away when my wife got sick.

I suppose it's also a boast. Other than
having a big scar down my chest (the
famed 'zipper' of everyone's jest), I
hold forth to myself the thought that
I've made it through something, and
Hallalujah to that, but there's always
more to come.
