shark fin soup, as I remember. Only went
there once with some motorcycle chippy.
They ran an entire bevy of professional
motorcycle lobbyists - yes, people who
made their living (and a good one) scouring
Congress for contacts and issues and votes

Pretty dumb idea, I always thought... but I
fell into it too, in New Jersey; basically doing
the same thing for Assembly and State Senate
people. Raritan Center meetings with MADD,
who hated Bikers hands down. It was nearly
impossible to discuss anything with these
self-righteous ladies. No Herzog's there, just
some dumpy cafe for coffee and eggs.
