A HOP, SKIP, AND A JUMP?
Back some fifty years ago or more,
1968. maybe, they still had things
like 'Milady Shops!' Milady was
some sort Victorian propriety for
the distaff side; female. However
it went, no one balked over it.

That was a long way back, and now
it sure seems like a lifetime ago : like
shopping with a Benson and Hedges
lit, walking through the store leaving
a trail of smoke. Funny stuff.

Here's a book of some old, smart,
words and photos. The same days
I'm talking about. See the girl with
those mew, fancy boots? Yeah , they
were quite the thing for a while. If
you had new Frye boots, you were
pretty hip.
