GO LIGHTLY
Go lightly, when the Devil listens.
There are worn marks in the carpet
from situations just like this : awaiting
the vigil is a vigil itself, and this man
surely shall not die. It was once that we
all would have been smoking in here,
now no one lifts a finger towards that.
Mark my words - however you do that -
the sun shall not rise again, Pedro, until
you've denied the nasty rumor. It should
only take three days anyway. By then
they will have changed all these fool
centurions; sent them home early and
tired. Rome wasn't built in a day - I've
heard it took less than forty minutes.
