THE SHIP TITANIC?
This has already gone down already over and done
with too : what do you wish to do? Bring back
the dead alive? To this febrile new world?
Would anyone even know what to do?

I bring up old wood, Bakelite, heavy steel
and foundering ceramic and porcelain. You'll
note the lack of plastics - thus, they would not
know these things. How would we clue them,
tell them, fill them in? I'm too lazy for that.

Only a pliant crusade, one where the raiders get
weary and just turn around and go home; that's
the kind for me - books and magazines and the
sitting room couch for cigars and strong coffee
and no one to speak a word, not anyone at all.
