and they always forgot the 'e'? Milton?
Wasn't he on the Pirates? They called him
Beanball Milton, and said he was blind as a bat
when he pitched. Rilke? Didn't he play a
tippy-toe'd third base for the Giants? And
wasn't Roethke on the Dodgers, always
stopping the game for some silly pigeon
to pass? I really know my sports.
