4242. DEFENESTRATE

DEFENESTRATE
Defenestrate, to make it straight, heave
the body out the window. Watch what
fades and see the gliding landscape pass.
-
There are many ways to show the shine
on the silver: polish with a cloth, or blow
your breath to a vapor and wipe it off.
Other than that, I just don't know.
-
I want to be gone  -  like some old leader
in a Magyar land, heaved and pulsing dead,
landing flat on the ground some stupid Soviet
apparatchik threw him to from the up-above
high window. I want to fall like ideas fall, down.
-
'In Winter, I get up at night, and dress by
yellow candlelight. In Summer, quite the
other way, I have to go to sleep by day.'
