RESTIVE HAT TRICK
I went up on Sofield Road and
spun my wheels. The bike laid
down its load. My collarbone
broke but that was all.

We sat at the side of the ditch;
cigarettes and nerves. The nearby
Kingston trooper came a'flying
in. Checked us out, and the
ambulance came to take me
away.

The total damages, when done,
came to 11 grand. Uninsured
and aghast, I now have to find
out how to pay.
