IMPATIENCE
Running around the house is
not running around the house
and I do not see a way for me
to reach you. There is this gulf.

As a youngster, I did dream of
things like this; never thinking
they would actually happen -
least of all to me. And now
I am stuck. Truly stuck, I am.

I've gotten impatient before;
over small things not coming
to fruition. Though never any
like this. I'm at the end of my
line now, and fully without
satisfaction.
That's my impatience.
I'm stuck.
