Gazooma, and banners in the sky!
Like a Christmas midnight firework,
why? There's a tree in Mecklenberg
at the Ukrainian section of some
cemetery there, with a picture of
the Virgin and Child tacked up on
a tree trunk - for a long time now.
It's a miracle how its stayed there
all these years. Well I know of
three years, anyway. It's coated
in plastic, and, so, weatherfast.
Yes! Our Lady of Mecklenberg,
pray for us (or if not prayer, then
intercede at least).

In that same cemetery, and
quite nearby, there's a gravestone
of some Russian kid, granite and
all, carved with the image, along
with his name and dates, of course,
of a computer screen and its mouse.
Oh Mother Mary, have mercy on me!
