FREEZE-FRAME
In order to de-bug the mechanism,
I dismantled the messenger. Ha and
so funny too. We were sitting on a
shed that was perched upon the grass;
the shed was flat-roofed, and only
4 feet high. A crouch was necessary
to go inside. Fetch a rake, or pull
out the mower. No matter.

My father had built it, back in 1955,
and how it still stood, I never did
know. It stood still too. Nothing
ever moved in that old world.
