6751. AS AN ARTIST

AS AN ARTIST
As an artist I am tight-fisted, but may I buy
you a can of emptiness? They're running a
special today at Nasco's General, and I think
I may just have enough. We can share.
This space we inhabit is a fulcrum, with so
many things balancing  -  the respite might
be welcomed when we're done. Leverage
and pivot, that swivel of precision at the
point : each of those things make me now
worry where I may go off-track.
I can write, I can paint, I can
play music, I can draw. But
what I cannot do is find
an audience to even
look or talk
of more.
