AMAZINGLY INFRACTED
When the zinger is the penciled-in dog,
there isn't too much to be done. The big
laughs are over and the day will just wane.
The people leave down the stairway in two's.

On fellow wears a yellow jacket, as if out
hunting foxes on the library lawn. With him
is a tall lady named Vera. She says she lived
in the veldt as a child. I won't disagree.

Little is known of the others. I haven't met
any other people - this discrete group came
in on a cameo bus seeking pleasure and fun.
Games with cameras, and croquet on the lawn.
