LILIES AT THE ALTAR
Flowers marking death are always out
of place. Altars bedecked with Lilies
make no sense to me, and those catty
old quiet priests, who usually turn into
old age women anyway, always seem
so lost and abandoned. They do the
same things, day after day. Gurgling
into wine, and swearing it's blood.

Easter has a twist called Life. Things
reborn get to start anew?
