ON KINGSHIP
My foot fell asleep as I was traveling
somewhere, and I got nowhere fast.
Yet I did not feel insecure. You should
be proud of some achievement, something -
find one quickly, to use. There will always
be someone to shoot you down, but it's the
getting up that counts. There's a shadow
that falls, even on the garment of a King.
