THE DAMNED LAMP
The narrowest path often widens out.
Small things can become large : Chimera;
Image; Simple Illusion. The damned lamp
still sits on the table. Outlines and hardness,
a simple, frozen form. How can it be so,
every unchanging? Still throwing light,
but only when switched on.

I wonder about hardness. How can such
things exist, unchangingly, and why? Who
makes the designation 'lamp?' Is that not us?
