MOTIVATION ONDELAY
Hanging at DIA with Lou Reed and
Laurie, and some tall guy with long
blond hair. They'd driven up from NYC
to view a show and to talk along the way
about some project they were dreaming
up. It all came to be some year or so later,
though I can't for the life of me now
remember which it was.

Laurie Anderson was the coolest; so
little and so svelte. Now that things are
over so few will even know of what I
write here : Oh Superman, bring me
home again for another bout of this.

Time is like a liquid, always running out
of some god-damned overturned cup.
