HARD-PRESSED FOR WIZARDRY
When someone tells you something,
listen. That seems about the best advice:
take it the ears, and register the news.
There's no discounting any fusion of
the good and the bad. I knew a guy
once, named Myron Kenney. He too
disregarded what he was told, and died
without a penny. They held his wake
at a discount store. Facsimiles and
approximations will do no good.

No wizard ever arrived, and the people
are not awaiting one anymore. Instead,
they've accepted a status-quo-ante; one
thunderhead faker and thirty-five more.
