STILL NOTHING TO IT
'There's no honor among thieves,'
it's been said. Least I heard it said.
Head bent, knees down around the
ground, and that lethal saber at your
neck. Lipstick on your collar? That's
not lipstick, it's blood.

The new way things shape out
replaces the old way they used to
shape up. The only difference is
in what's interfered with and - at
bottom - everything's mostly
the same.

The music room has an accordion.
The science room has a lab table.
Some things just never change.
