THERE'S A GO-BETWEEN
There's a go-between between me and
my Spirit, between me and my Soul;
between me and my Heart, between
me and my Troll. I can attest to distant
passages and highways of light. Where
I have been, the roadway is always open.

High on Pendale Hill, where the Small
Jordan meets the Little River, the houses
still hug the channel. High water, low water,
it never seems to matter - the houses are
thoughts, the lanes between them are ideas.
