There's nothing I hate worse than the sound
of some droning, all-American know-it-all
announcer, going on about what he knows,
by script, that I do not. Omniscient narration,
indeed. Those crystallized bombs-away can
fall and I won't know a thing until some
geeky soldier starts crying on camera
for something he's just recalled.
