9980. AND THE PERIWINKLES NEED TO GO

AND THE
PERIWINKLES
NEED TO GO
Allied against the shoreline are the rocks,
and those the waves do batter. I can see the
mist, like a coat of rainbow hue being cast
now over the sand. A few distant ships roll.
-
Whether lights come on in the evening or
not, and before the dark or after  -  those
are not my concerns. I go on, regardless
of such circumstances. Measuring what I
read of situations, and reading what is
measured  -  conflagrations, manipulations,
and fire too. Brimstone, as in the
great old Bible tales.
-
I shall keep my watch and stand my stead.
