5690. ON CHYRSANTHEMUM STREET

ON CHRYSANTHEMUM STREET
They've raised the price of a coffee again. Never never,
seems no end. I guess for the other crowd, the one which
drives up in the Benz, there's no challenge to this at all.
Sit down, hop to it, order up, and pay a few dimes more.
What matters? Don't live life like such a bore.
-
Still, I wonder just as well  -  every stupid little shop along
this street has signs out begging for a sale. Stop in and browse,
Summer savings now! All that balderdash and squiggle. Why
stay in business if your business isn't staying? I'd destroy
myself first. There's too much light in these windows.
