THUNDERHEAD
They've started the walk of the blind from
the medical center on 14th; a line of wavering
people trying to stay straight. It's not easy. Past
the Masons, past the big old church, past rows
of old dress stores, trinkets and junk. Only at the
corner, waiting for the light, does it occur to anyone
that amber means caution, but only if you see it.
