WHAT CAN YOU TELL ME?
What can you tell me, traveler, and what
will you say? Who am I to care anyway?
What will you tell me, distant one, and when
will you say what your meanings amount to?
My arms, small and curled, are not enough
to hold you; my feet cannot keep up. I am
but mortal, to your timeless phrases and
timeless wings. I may have met a few masters
in my time, but none to reach the level of
what you are, or what I aspire to be.
What can you tell me, traveler,
what will you say to me?
