LAST DAY SALES
OVERDUE NOW
The paper in the window was peeling -
the drip-like sheet sagged watery-free.
'All Sales Final. Liquidation of Premises.
No Terms.' I wasn't sure how all that
went, yet I figured these guys knew
their ropes. Every last gent. How else
could they manage the millions?
-
Funny, but I guess they couldn't, or
weren't able to - or they wouldn't be
having this sell-out sale. 'Here, we've
failed!' Maybe the sign should say.
