THIS IS HOW IT IS
You can go, my dear friend,
with the tutelage of a pupil, to
Benjamin Franklin's grave and
see the pennies loosely thrown.
Nickels, dimes, and quarters too
are thereabout, but generally
people are cheap - and most
of these cheaps anyway are
ghetto kids on schoolbus tours.
It's at Christchurch, at the base
of the city; Philadelphia having
much to offer. I myself have
known a few. Not far off, the
house of Betsey Ross will let
you in - maybe 10 bucks or
something like that. All the
usual junk, and I think they
even have her pasties on
display. There's a Betsey
Ross Post Office there as
well, if anyone wishes to
buy a postcard or send -
even to themselves back
home - a letter postmarked
'Betsey Ross Station.' In
this current nation, that's
real elation.
