Some kids now are deadly with
their phones : sidelights to the
stars and other universes far
outside their heads. You can
explain all you want to anyone,
but you really can't teach the
blind how to read a blueprint.
For that, they have to see.

I used to service the maladroit
in all their causes. Then it went
away; the whole idea of service,
or caring for others. Now, it makes
no sense in any way. I learned I
had to step up for myself, not
others. Tying others' shoes is
just a complication.

Take that jagged yellow cab to
Liberation Street. Turn right, if
he lets you tell him, first, at
Oblivion and then another
right at Jubilation, and you
are there. Ahead of time too.
