JUST LET ME STAY
It's party time in this heart
of gold; but I cannot move
out from this dismal clime.
Mine breaks; heart drips and
clotted loves and glories.
I only want, again, another
day. I will freshen the freshet
with a new, clear-sprung spray.
(Just let me stay).
