INFATUATION, ALL GONE
When I was a kid a long time ago,
my favorite character was Bazooka
Joe, and a guy named Sluggo. Bubble
Gum comics, and a little cartoon strip,
of no meaning whatsoever 'cept what
you gave to it. I gave Sluggo my all.

World Series and baseball cards?
Who cared? They held nothing to
Sluggo : tirade tyrant baseball ripper,
fence-bound probable maniac. I got
off on that. Fifth-grade Sluggo was the
culmination of all my dreams. but
'Nancy' was always a stranger to me.
