NOW VOYAGER?
I stepped outside in the
midnight air : once more
to my barren defenses. The
edges of this world were dark,
and the sky seemed weak. I
travelled fifty paces, 'midst
the dark, to see the light I
though I saw. Around the
wooded cove, the illumination
seemed different; of another
source. I rounded the trees.
-
To my strained delight, and
realizing I could do little else,
I witnessed the strange, white
brilliance of a three-quartered
plus moon rising. The light was
a strenuous push, and my awed
self welcomed what I saw.
-
Move along now, voyager,
move along.
