Count your schemes before
they hatch disasters, and consider
yourself lucky if you can smile.
It only takes awhile: before the
lame ducks of designation start
to consume the bread; before the
leaves of rose madder start to fall
down; before the icicle blender
starts melting its ends; before the
last cart headed to oblivion starts
leaving the town.
