4460. WORKS OF MAN

WORKS OF MAN
I regale you now with the works of Man:
having sailed the seas, we have made this land.
The canyons are thin and hollow, steel and concrete,
maganese and chrome. Workers work, far off, to
cut and slice fine lumber - every app
ointment is
a top-notch matter. That which comes in raw - by
the mangle and touch of hands near divine - are
turned by claw and hammer into wonders. People look
up to stare - all gap-mouthed Oriens from Dubuque
and Toledo, Millas Falls and Red Claw. This is a
speechless land - a place slated, and packed now
with the stacked miracles of ten thousand shows and
lights. So many come to leave, and merely stay instead -
caught up forever in some wonder of magical nights.
