THE OVERRUN GHETTO
OF FACTOTUMS
What would you have taken, I have to ask, like
some gunman shooting at Marcellus shale? My
empowered entrapment means nothing to you?
I am here, and I am here alone.

Never in my spendthrift days did I see anything like
this  -  the gallery show at the carnival arcade, the
clown catching wooden bullets with his teeth, and
that lawyer, impersonating George Washington again.

Oh gosh! It's all over now, and the youngest kid is
thirty-two. Like an abstract artist wishing to be  - 
I'm sure of that  -  people must scratch their heads as
 if to say: 'what's the matter with him now?'

We don't make anything easy.
We don't ever stop to listen.
