I have a wallet-sized photo of everything
inside my brain. Everything I've ever
seen or noticed. It oozes completion,
and probably includes you! Compromising
positions be damned!

There's a story-line that dangles from
each and every one. The guy who walks
the prison-fence. The girl working too
hard at working overtime. The fake
Nazi at the motor-vehicle place in
Rahway or Queens. Anything seems
likely now.

I've walked a mile in my shoes, and
I know the ins and outs of that. Tongue
flapping, soul on fire? My slip-on
penny loafers lead a life of crime.
