I went to one once, and stayed pretty
close. She was going on about
Charlemagne, but she insisted on
calling him Chares Magnus - which
I'd heard before and understood, but
seemed like just a pretense to me.

But, I figured, some people have to go
about things like that; notching it all up
to meet some higher imagined version
of what they should or could really be.
