6001. POURING FORTH

POURING FORTH
I'm wearing your shoes, I'm
running new times. My hands
are in the pockets of your jacket;
so many rich things pouring
forth. We cannot do this
together if we do it alone.
-
I visited Westbeth. I walked down
Bethune and Bank. I knocked on 105.
The answer has appeared in the whitened
doorway, as it was the past again owing
money to things and things to money.
'We cannot do this together
if we do it alone.'
-
Too much of nothing : the pole man, the
electric company, all those hard-up guys
stretching wires in a wireless world. They
stand straight but not connected. We cannot
do this together if we do it alone.
