THE MYTH OF NATTY BUMPO
There never were so many things as we
were taught, and the natives in the
Allegheny forests were slaughtered at
will by the forerunners of all we are
today - this was death, suffering,
a wanton violence and a greed for
establishing myth. A myth of place and
oneness and singularity and specialness.
But it never was to be, as it was grounded
in fear, violence and death; all of the Devil's
standing, now standing, as well,
athwart all of this land today.
