BEING A BLUEBLOOD CAN
GIVE YOU THE...BLUES?
I was reading about Prince Charles
going mad : all that waiting for nothing,
his dead life and his living death. It
doesn't seem sad, for that's not quite
the right word. Tea and poolside, after
all, and the Rolls and palace too.

Leisure for some comes in buckets :
Short speeches, ribbon cuttings at
schools for the lame, recital halls and
Bach at bacchanals. Tedious things
too, like the dedication of that new
fire-boat 'Flounder.' How often can
one twirl in circles before a true
dizziness sets in? And who then
must do all the running?
