NADA AND DOUBLIQUE
I found the feather. It was lying on
the path. Red-Bellied Woodpecker.
It was only one, yet from it I was
able to conjure the entire bird.
Ah! How like Life! And how
courageous, and satisfying too!

Collecting rocks along the path,
I made a stream; which led me
to a river; which brought me
to an ocean of new dreams.
