EDLINGTON ROMANOVSY
I always mixed him up with another
poet, Edward Arlington Robinson.
I guess it's excusable, neither ever
having been on 'educational' TV.
This one was blind, and had an
extra row of teeth. Yep; somehow.
I always found that more fascinating
than anything he could ever write.
That extra row protruded a bit. So
he also couldn't talk very well.
Now being blind is one thing, but
being a blind poet, with an extra
row of teeth, who couldn't talk
very well; that was some extra
stuff, some truly unique input,
a shower of power to talent.
A real calling card!
