6869. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE

YOU DON'T KNOW
WHAT IT'S LIKE
Who was it who said?....Probably a million people.
Walk a mile in my shoes, all that stuff. There's a
certain great style to the good feeling of others, and
then the stark truth pops up  -  everyone, alone, you're
on your own. You've done it yourself, again.
I'm too shy for this action.
-
The people with the real books, they count for the
blessings as much as the losses  -  what's gone is gone,
once it enters their books. I live in love and luxury,
in my way, until they're both dissolved and finished.
There's a place on my shelves for a hundred books
titled 'Misery'. You don't know what it's like.
