AMERICAN FILM STUDIOS
I'd signed up just the other day, and
they gave me two thousand dollars
for doing so. Then I walked to the
curtained lounge where they served
their lunches and coffees and sat me
down. I was part of the big-deal now.
A film star in my on little right. They
told me I should shine; the fat guy said
if I was a turtle it was time to take off
my shell. What? I wondered if that was
the manner in which they always spoke.
It's not the case, I thought I'd hope.
