2043. FURY THROUGH THE FAMILY

FURY THROUGH THE FAMILY
There is not a public policy
statement to be made : I have none.
She perished in 1931; some form of
plague and fever - and she was
not alone. This is not as bad as
1917's influenza epidemic. People
died there in droves. There is an
old, neglected cemetery alongside
Tonnelle Avenue at Jersey City -
now vastly under construction right
there - where stone after stone
denotes family burials, each within
10 days of each other. Fathers. Sons.
Daughters. Mothers. The fury
swept right through the family.
